Krysta Powell RMT is a modern massage therapy clinic that not only offers a quiet, soft, inviting and relaxing space but also offers up to date clinical treatments that aim to treat a wide variety of conditions including, but not limited to, chronic low back pain, headaches, neck tightness/tension, strains and sprains, muscular injuries, TMJ disorder, discomforts due to arthirits, fibromyalgia and pregnancy and even symptoms related to anxiety and depression.
Krysta Powell RMT is located at 27 Goff Ave. Carbonear. It is in the big blue building directly beside Coastal Outdoors and in the same building as A1 Autoglass and Coombs Compassionate Homecare. Come in through the Coombs Homecare door on your right and come up the stairs on your left.
Krysta Powell is a Registered Massage therapist with the College of Massage Therapy of Newfoundland and Labrador and a member of the Newfoundland and Labrador Massage Therapy Association. She received her 2200 hour Massage Therapy diploma from The Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2018 and since then has continued to enhance her knowlege by taking Continued Education Courses yearly. She has taken the TMJ Mastery workshop and focuses her practice on TMJ Dysfunction. She is also certified in cupping and gua sha.
Krysta has three children and loves to spend time with her family. When she is not with her family she is running her business and focusing on her second love - Massage Therapy. Krysta aims to treat the condition/problem at its source and tries to focus on improving pain/mobility so that the patient can continue to live life to the fullest. If Krysta doesn't have the answers or needs help that is outside her scope she will refer to the appropriate Healthcare provider so that there is collaborative care to get the patient rehabilitated and on the way to healing.
